If impact test is required for any WPS the base metal thickness limit is an supplemental material and qualification of minimum thickness limit shall follow QW-403.6.
Now our Consulting Service Department is telling us the qualification thickness limit shall be t/2 to t+6mm. as per ASME B 31.3 table 323.3.1 for piping.

Guys, did you faced this kind of problem? I am experiencing this problem 1st time.
Please let me know your understanding and experience.
