It is outrageously expensive. Just take one metallurgical micro-photograoh system, it should do the job equally well....Needs some adaptation, that's all.

With GE in India having the FILM scanner and good software to transfer in digitized form.
The software is amazing which given you dimensions of defects.
Its costly but too good!
