Dear k zamani,
A 350 Gr P22 is not listed/stated in ASME IX..may be you meant a A335 Gr P22 (2.25Cr–1Mo). Based on API 582 back purging is required for the GTAW and GMAW processes for welding materials having a nominal chromium content greater than 2 1/4% unless the joint is ground or back gouged to sound metal
