Metals that do not appear in ASME Sec IX - P Number Table are
considered to be unassigned metals; the unassigned metal can be
matched with ASME P Number of the table by UNS Number of unassigned
metal. The metals do not having UNS numbers which are not listed in P
Number table can be matched by Chemical & Mechanical properties (UTS)
of the materials that are available in Section II by a comparison
table. Hence, it is correct that a spec of Non ASME material can be
compared with ASME P Numbering system.
