Hi,
Did you noticed when constructing building the mason not keeping the brick one over another in same position. The first brick will start from corner, the second line will start by keeping the edge of brick at center of bottom one overlapping. No buildings bricks will be exactly one over another. Use this logic, to make sure the strength of the building.
Similar way the longitudinal seam of one shell shall not be in same line as it weakens the joint.
