In this hsn code will come 7222

So it not required bis in bar and angle ....for more detail you can contact your  clearing forwarding agent

MTC as per EN 10204 3.1 minimum.

Material shall be annealed condition as applicable.

NACE MR-01-75 / ISO 15156 shall be complied.

Material shall be procured from Saudi Aramco approved vendor.

 

We have placed our order on UK supplier and now when material is ready we understand from our commercial department that BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard) approval is a must to import any material so we requested the supplier and got following response:-

 

"To obtain BIS approval is not that easy, it involves a complete audit in order to firstly obtain the BIS registration,

and then once we have obtained the approval we have to submit documents for each export order for approval.

 

This would take some weeks and would be costly."

 

Can anyone from their past experience suggest me how to come out of this situation….thanks in advance for your time and help.
