Dear Umar,

You can ask the manufacturer to provide a letter of conformity stating that the stamping was missed out and they authorize you to do the same. If it is an coded vessel then please take the concurrence of the AI by raising an NCR. or  else you can inform your client about the same. but most important is if there is impact testing then you have to follow below,

As per Product specification SA105 marking "QT" is required if the forging is Quenched and Tempered.
in one of the MTC the material mentions as Quenched and Tempered but the marking QT is NOT found.
