In some aerospace and motor applications also ER70S-D2 are used

For welding 4130 to 4130,

1. In SMAW process, you can use E 10016-D2 or E 10018-D2.

2. In TIG process it is ER 80 S-D2

Subject: [MW:25667] Suitable electrodes for joining AISI 4130

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your time to read my question.

I want to know which welding electrode is suitable for welding these base metals together  grade AISI 4130 with AISI 4130.

Thanks

PAWAN PAL
