The answers are pertaining to ASME sec.IX. In AWS D 1.1, the procedure limits for Diameters too.
Kindly clarify, whether it is for pipe welding as per ASME or any structural application.

Diameter is an essential variable Only for welders qualification.
A WPS has always to reflect the actual welding configuration, So even no need for a new PQR the WPS needs to be edited again
