Dr Dilintas; can you please tell me where this requirement is prescribed….I have a project as of right now which this subject has been discussed and the PM said only full engagement is necessary which I disagree with.  Thank you

choose such a length that after tightening two threads at  least are protruding from the nut

I need bolt length for 30" flange 150# RF ASME B16.47 SERIES A. How can i calculate bolt length as per ASME B16.47 series A? Bolt length is not given in ASME B 16.47. Please guide me.
