[MW:22377] AISI 4140 material

Dear Expert,

Anyone have any experience welding on AISI 4140/4130 material?

What is the best welding consumable can be recommended for this kind of material.

Along my knowledge, 4140 is high tensile & high yield strength material which requires proper welding condition such as preheat, interpass temperature control etc.

Kindly assist me on the welding consumable for this kind for

SMAW

GTAW

FCAW/GMAW

SAW
