[MW:21225] 316L new pipe to old pipe for Pump

Dear Expert,

Below is my situation under brown field offshore HUC work :

1. The existing pipe is 316L sch.S10s
2. The new pipe also 316L sch.10s

My query :

What will happen during the welding in term of the fussion issue. Somebody said, the fussion will be affected due so call magnet flow in the existing pipe.


Please advise if this statement is correct. Also, please advise what is the way forwars to proceed with this welding job.
