you should give the standard type written on the rail parts and search about that type material to know the electrode required.

Dears

I face a problem in my site … I have a rail do not know its material … we need to weld this rail to CS base plate (fillet weld) .. I told them to use E9018-D1 but it was not available they use 7018-1 but joints is cracked … please confirm me the electrode to use

** the rail is from Turkish railways rails
