Dear All,

Please guide me about interpretation of clause 12.5.2.4 of API 1104
regarding wall thickness of Automatic welding process which states "a
change in wall thickness beyond the range established in the procedure
specification constitutes an essential variable"
In my PQR sample thickness is 12.7 mm process is GMAW (STT)/FCAW.  If
I specify thickness range from 4.8 to 19.1 mm (group "b" of API) will
it be OK?
Please give your interpretation/thoughts of above clause what would be
my qualified thickness range with using above PQR thickness.

Thanks in advance
