i am working in consumable industry where we followed ASME SEC.II C only. For the performance of electrode & other mechanical testing we have 7 welders.now a days we are facing a problem about welder performance qualification. As we know that for welder qualilication we followed ASME sec.ix and for this we need one approved WPS according to sec.ix .my query is that can i use WPS made according to sec.iic instead of sec.ix. if yes, then please let me know where it is mentioned?
Thanks & regards,
