Dear Expert,

Standard: SNT-TC-1A-2011

Query:

1. Can any organisation re-certify an individual who presently holds a certificate from an organization other than the one which certified him/her? I mean an independent Institute which conducts NDE Training & give Certificate to successful candidate/s and not a manufacturing company.
2. Most of the client request NDE Level II in Radiography to be certified as very specific. Eg: Interpretation. Is this a mandatory requirement? I understand that such specific requirement is stated for PCN Qualification and not in SNT-TC-1A.

Please do provide the reference from SNT-TC-1A-2011 for above query.

Thanks & Regards
Vino, Doha.
