Regarding Production test coupon requirement,
1) As per code PTC For each vessel, one test plate shall be made for
each welding procedure used for joints of Categories A and B. The
vessel impact test plate shall be from one of the heats of steel used
for the vessel or group of vessels. but
2) we don't have same heat number plate which is used for shell/Dish,
but we want to used other heat number plate which is used in vessel as
internal attachment plate and it have different thickness. Is it
possible to use that plate as PTC. please guide me.
