Gents,

Do you have idea on the Inconel 625 Overlay on the AISI 4130/4140

I used P-GTAW, with 150deg cel as preheat & Max . Inter pass is 240 deg cel, PWHT -590 deg. Cel for 3 hrs to reduce the hardness to below 250 VHN

In micro analysis, HAZ showing the carbide precipitates.

Any idea, on why happened like this?
