Re: [MW:12537] spot radiography as per ASME B 31.3



Dear Sir,

Spot Radiography - the spot is selected from the weld length of one joint , the spot may be 300mm lenth minimum as per ASME B 31.3 or API 620 / 650 150 mm length. You may refer the attachment and the details of SPOT Radiography is given there.

I have the following comments :-

 

01.  In all cases the Radiography is always on the weld joints only

02.  Random is always from the different weld seams of a vessel

 

But the basic question is not yet replied.

 

May be Experts can shed some more light on this matter
