Dear Ali,<br>Please note the following.<br><br>Range : We need to decide the range of  UT appratus based on the beam path we want to see on the screen. Say your object for which you are performing UT with normal probe is having the depth of 100 mm and if you set the range of 90 mm then the screen will not show the back wall echo since screen will show the beam path only upto 90 mm since you have set the range only 90 mm and not 100 mm.<br>Range means upto what extent you want to see the beam path on the screen.<br><br>With the help of sweep and delay key you can calibrate the range of beam path.<br><br>I am not sure about zero.
