Dear Asif,

You can lock the PSV before the test. There should be lock-nut top of the PSV.
If you send me pictures of PSV I can mark and explain on the picture.

We have heat exchanger that should be pressure tested at 26 Bar while at the piping attached with exchanger having a PSV set at 17 bar and we can not remove and isolate the PSV because of welding.

Can we limit the pressure test at 15 or 16 bar? .Plz provide your expert opinion.
