Hi Himan,
What's proposed by ESAB is not correct. Please seethe two attachments showing highlighted texts. S.S 321 is a Titanium stabilized steel. Hence the matching weld metals also shall be stabilized.
Titanium gets oxidized fast when it's added through coating. Hence other stabilizers such as Nb has to be added to the weld puddle to provide the stabilized weld metal as well as provide the high temperature Creep Properties. Thus 347 electrodes/fillers are the only solution.
Hope it clears your doubt.
Thanks.

Dear Experts
Refer to API582 table A-2 proposed filer to weld SS321 to SS321 is E347-XX/ER-347 but some manufacturers such as ESAB propose E/ER-308LSi to this base material (SS321 to SS321) operating temperature is +350 C,
would you please advise in this issue.
Regards,
H.Nikdin
