[MW:24668] simulated PWHT on HIC sample

Dear Expert
Good Day!!!

There is a 100 mm thick plate A516-Gr 70N in sour service which shall be HIC tested, laboratory told us that the test sample shall be heat treated in a simulated PWHT condition for the equipment other wise test result will be failed, meanwhile there is no specific requierment in NACE in this regard. I am looking for a reference to satisfy my client.
Appreciate if you can share your valuable ideas regarding this issue.
