[MW:24678] RE: 24673] Regarding Welding Record

Dear Sir,

Every specification has his own requirements regarding the data that should be recorded, what need to be recorded and/or should be mentioned will be laid down in the applicable procedure. If for example AWS D1.1 applies the requirement can be find also in that specification, same for EN-ISO 15614 which refers to the EN-ISO 15609 for this issue. So it completely depends on the specifications you need to follow.

Onderwerp: [MW:24673] Regarding Welding Record

Dear Experts,

Welding record usually contains welding parameters such as welding currentwelding voltagetravel speedand preheat temperatureetc. when ASME production involved. However, for structural stell, it seems it's not necessary to record all welding parameteronly some basic info recorded.
So I get puzzled what exactly need to be showed in welding record or how to prepare a welding record format.
Is there any codes or stands specified the contain of the welding record

Really appreciate it for your reply.
