Dear Sirs
· A333 Gr 6 is P1 G1 and not P1 G2
· Question: Under B31.3; Impact test required; can I combine one single Pipe to Pipe P1 G1 PQR with one single Pipe to Pipe P1 G2 PQR and issue one Pipe P1 G1 X Pipe P1 G2 WPS ?
Best regards

Subject: Re: [MW:23188] PQT for A333 Gr.6 pipe
If you want to use pipes, you can run the PQR using A333 Gr 6 and API 5L X65 pipes , both are P1G2 materials. Hope there is impact test requirements.
Dear Experts,
In our project, we have to establish a WPS /PQR for A333 Gr 6 Pipe (P-1,Group-1) and Flanges A350 LF-2 (P-1,Group-2). Process - GTAW+SMAW (with ER 70S-2 and E7018-1).
How to conduct/establish one combined PQT with P-1,Group-1 to P-1,Group-2 ??
Can we make two PQT separately of below options :-
One Pipe to Pipe in 6G position and other any Plate to Plate in 4G/3G position of which Tensile Strength 70 ksi) - Is it acceptable as per ASME Sec-IX?
Please clarify.
Thanks in advance,
R.K.Samanta
