There is table 4-1 which shows the acceptance limits regarding the type of rounded indications (random or isolated) by giving some examples and the relationship with the thickness. Generally in dissimilar thicknesses, the thinner part should be the criteria for decision (it is mentioned in 4-2-c).
So the max. dimension for rounded indication is 0.79mm for random, and 1.07mm for isolated indications regarding to your thinner thickness, 3mm. Please read 4-3 carefully for more details.
Also Fig. 4-1 & 4-2 guide you about permissible length of indications (and not about size and number of indications).
In addition you can use fig. 4-3 for typical size, number and distribution of indications. Keep in mind that this figure is just a sample based on previous criterias and drawn for thicknesses between 3 to 6mm.
