To qualify as per Sec IX,  for the above mentioned range you need to combine two PQR while making the WPS.

First PQR shall have T ( base metal thickness ) less than 10mm which will qualify the WPS from 1.5 mm to 2T.

Second PQR shall be made on say 30 mm Base metal thickness which will qualify the WPS from 5mm to 60 mm.

These two PQR can be combined while making a single  WPS provided all other essential variables are the same for both the PQR except for T.

If impact test requirements are there, then all the supplementary variables need to be considered.
