Dear experts
Good day!!
In all corrosion prediction models for process units in oil and gas the prediction model calculate the corrosion rate for piping system and whereas the process condition in equipment such as the vessels, towers and exchangers is totally different with piping system the evaluation model is not applicable to predict the corrosion rate and calculate the corrosion allowance. So I want to know this phrase is correct or not;
"The corrosion allowance for equipment is at least equal to the worst corrosion allowance of pipes which connected to equipment".
If yes is there any specific code to verify the above phrase?
