Vendor Quality Control can transfer the data and is authorized to certify in their own 3.1 certification.

Subject: [MW:22938] EN 10204 3.1 certification

Dear All,

While during inspection of valves, pressure parts (body, bonnet, stud & nut) requirement were 3.1 certification as review point as per ITP for us Vendor certified the requirement on their letter head as 3.1 including chemical, mechanical & heat treatment requirement  with heat no. instead of providing MTC's of component manufacturer separately.

My question is, Shall we accept such MTC on valve manufacturing letter head instead of component manufacturing MTC?

Regards,

Mohd. Sadique Sheikh
