Dear Jani Thanks for your advise. Among the three methods stated below by you, I think the first two can be considered in our factory. So I kindly request you to give me more details( brand/manudacturer/part name/ size / dimensions of block / material used /supplier details etc ) of the 2 methods to reduce intensity. Thanks n regards Sent from Yahoo! Mail on Android |

Hello Raj Upto what thickness Radiography required at your end and what sources you are using? There is a way to reduced intensity of radiation. One is start using Collimator ( one device which will make rays in certain required direction only). Second make movable shielding block with different material as available with you. Third is make Bunker or say Enclosure where you can load job and radigraphy can be done without any safety failure. Regards, Jani Pinakin Ph. No.Res. 00912612773965 Ph. If your company is ready to invest in NDT go ahead with " safe rod " but it is a costly method . It doesn't require any barrication and your site can run and RT can be carried out as well Yogi
