I don’t agree with the statement. Fod cast iron one would use nickel based electrodes but not for cast steel

There are several electrodes for this, they are based in Nickel, so even you can use a Stainless electrode. Regards.

Hi,

Can anybody suggest a good electrode for cast steel?

No code applies, just common welding.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Larry
