RE: [MW:6744] Pressure vessel in Austenitic-Ferritic Stainless Steel

Dear Herman,

Austenitic ferritic grade implies duplex. Do you have any specific details
about design parameters, other requirements e.g NACE MR-0133 or API-938C.

If you have those details then correct grade/s could be worked out.

Thanks.

Subject: [MW:6741] Pressure vessel in Austenitic-Ferritic Stainless Steel

Dear Sirs,

One of my customers have to manufacture a pressure vessel according to ASME
VIII in Austentic-Ferritic Stainless Steel. I personally have not a lot of
experience with the ASME code because we mostly produce according to
European standards.
I need some help to find the following information:

1) which material specification is applicable for austenitic-ferritic
stainless steel plates for pressure vessels, I can't find this in ASME
section II part A.

2) where can I find in the ASME specifications which weld details are
allowed for pressure vessels and support skirt.

Thanks for response in advance.
