[MW:1801] Re: Polarity Vs Heat generation

Hi Mohammed,
The rate of metal deposition is higher with electro +ve than with electro -ve, hence dilution will be more on electro positive. I will recommend electro negative for overlay because of lower rate of metal deposition.

Hi members,

I would like to get a clarification in a matter. Is there any recomendation to use electrode -ve for overlay to get less dilution?. Is there any relation with electrode polarity and heat generation?.

Thanks & Regards
Muhammed Ibrahim PK
