[MW:1799] RE: 1798] Re: Mill Deviation as per ASTM A358

Thanks for the answer Mr. Ashish Bhate. I believe you were mentioning about the mill under tolerance but anyway the mill deviation I was trying to imply is the deviation on the diameter because A358 are standard specification for Electric Fusion Welded Pipe for Cr-Ni alloy. Can I re introduce my question.

Whatever the mill  deviation ,thickness after max. undertolerance shall not be less than the calculated required wall thickness .

Can anybody elaborate to me the application of this mill Deviation of 0.01” in lieu to ASTM A358 specification. Is this deviation can be applied to any applicable calculation such as wall thickness calculation, Maximum allowable operating pressure and hydro test pressure in particular.
