Iam new in this user group and found very much interesting.
I have seen a lot of Engrs and Managers who does not want to share their knowledge but here the world is different.

If your construction code is ASME Sec VIII Div.1, then refer Mandatory Appendix 8 for LPT acceptance criteria.
The acceptance standards mentioned in ASME Sec VIII Div 1, 2007 edition are:
All surfaces examined shall be free from :
Relevant linear indications ( greater than 1.6mm)
Relevant Rounded indications greater than 5mm.
Four or more relevant rounded indications in a line separated by 1.5mm or less (edge to edge).
