Re: [MW:35280] parent mental is 25crmo4 to 25crmo4. Is 80S-B2 filler material is suitable or anything else one plz suggest

90S-B3 is overmatched. B3 weld chemistry is 2.25Cr + 1Mo
Not necessary. 80S-B2 is more than enough.

1. TIG/MIG Welding:ER80S-B2: A filler wire designed for welding Cr-Mo steels. It has good creep resistance and is suitable for high-temperature applications.ER90S-B3: This wire provides higher strength and creep resistance than ER80S-B2 and is appropriate for critical applications where higher tensile strength is needed.

25CrMo4 is equivalent 0.25%C, 1%Cr, 0.25% Mo which almost matches ur rod selection 80S-B2
