while hard facing of Er CoCrA on  410 type material by any process( ie: PTA or GTAW), Tempering is not required, PWHT only required. Since tempering will affect the quality of CoCrA hard face, hence PWHT is enough and furnace cooling to Room temp is best industrial practice.
