[MW:27978] Re: Required Hydrotest pressure Drop calculation due to Temperature drop

You can use the below formula,

P1/T1 = P2/T2.

As per my calculation for your reading, 28.05 bars is acceptable.

Dear Brother

We have facing problem at Hydro test , Pressure Drop same time Temperature also Drop , Now our client asking Drop calculation according to temperature drop

We are Doing Holding time for 1 Hour at our project , Due to welded joints are full painted

4" Line sch -120

Start Hydro test :
 Test pressure =29.4 Bar
  Temperature=35.1C

After 1 Hour

End of Hydro test :
Test pressure =27.4 Bar
 Temperature =33.5C

I have know Temp drop will be equal to pressure Drop , Now My question how we can drive formula and shows that above hydro test accepted

Borthers , I need pressure change for a change in test water temperature Calculation if any one can drive formula and send me or you have any excel formula please share in our group
