Castings for SS321H Piping class // CF8C

use 347Ss CF8C

can it be used for  678°C?
  • check in ASME B 16.34 and B 31.3 carbon content higher than 0.04 percent is required
  • you might have to use buttwelded valves since flanged valve ratings terminate at 538 deg c as per asme b 16.34
  •  also read  ASME  B 31.3 for  high temp piping recommendation regarding material
