Dear Experts,
During in-service inspection we observed localized general loss in thickness in the 12" elbow (B16.9). Normally fittings are stress relieved , in our case is it possible to carry out repair & whether is mandatory to carry out the stress relieving? (ex: weld build up, patch plate etc) . Please share your opinion with code reference.
