Dear Abdul ,
Pipe to pipe PQR Mech test was carried today out and it has the same issue with impact in the weld root centre line . No issues in HAZ and CAP region . Hardness values within acceptable limits ( 220HV10 at root region ) . Is it because of the ER80SNi-1 filler ?? Dilution of Ni aftecting toughness ?

--Dear Yokesh,I presume you were qualified a PQR for Pipe to pipe (X65 to X65) welding most likely with same electrode combination(if not, please specify). what happened to that PQR? is it pass the impact toughness? what about those impact values? if you compare these 2 scenarios(pipe to pipe and pipe to flange), you may get some conclusions. Please share if so.Thanks in advanceAbdul MuneerWelding EngineerDynamic Industries Saudi Arabia+966550216718 (KSA)+919895480850 (IND)
