I want to weld 2inch weldolet to 24inch pipe, my doubt can i use welder qualified as per section 9 with diameter range 73mm and above to weld 2 inch weldolet whose OD is above 73mm.
Second doubt how much weld i need to deposit on weldolet to run pipe connection if code of construction is asme B31.3, i think it should be minimum thickness of branch or run pipe thickness and then make fillet. Or is it needed to deposit weld upto bevel end then a fillet.Regards
Vikas
