Re: [MW:19943] Inspection of Piping Material

Dear Ifthikar,
Please go through the MTC first and check for chemical & mechanical
properties and compare it with ASTM 333, A106 standards..for the
inspection, heat numbers are the important parameter to confirm the
material traceability (if heat numbers are not visible then it could
be rejected) ..then check the physical status of the material for
damages, dimensions (ovality, thickness in random etc)..if possible
check the internals of the pipes & fittings for big sizes as well.
these are the basics i think.
