it can go below 620 °C, if you meet all the requirements of para A 2. 1. 4. however ensure that your simulation and actual PWHT temp should in the same range. if plate mill can't guarantee the plate at 620 °C, you can't go for product PWHT beyond 600 °C
-- dished ends are manufactured by the mill? if not what is the final treatment by dished end manufacturer. is it NACT or normalizing?
NACT can be accepted for NACE service, as manufacturer will certify it as NT.

One query related to acceptance of NACT plates instead of only Normalised. For Shell:
SA 516 GRADE 70 - SOUR - NACE - SEC VIII-II THICKNESS - ABOVE 100 MM PWHT TEMP = 621° C - MIN AS PER NACE SIMULATION - NORMALISING + 3 PWHT CYCLE
For Heads:
SA 516 GRADE 70 - SOUR - NACE -SEC VIII-II THICKNESS - ABOVE 100 MM PWHT TEMP = 621° C - MIN AS PER NACE SIMULATION - NORMALISING+NORMALISING + 3 PWHT
Que:
1. IF HEAT TREATMENT IS CARRIED OUT IS NACT INSTEAD OF NORMALISING THEN MILL IS GIVING THE GUARANTEE FOR ABOVE SIMULATION.2. ............CAN WE REDUCE THE PWHT TEMPERATURE (LESS THAN 621° C) UP TO WHAT LEVEL ???, ............As some of the Mills are giving guarantee of 4 PWHT cycle with 600°C
