Mr sam,
reason you can be,as you said old line,
1. may b distortion.since line.is old and i hope u have thk data of entire line.
2.you can make volume calculation and vol require to.raise 1 bar preeasure.this will help you to establish between temp and press variation.
3.air trap,pl clean guage n connection to graph from possibke air trap.
4.as you said winter, pressure dropping is consider normal in absence of visible leaks.
5.pl chek hose connection or manifold side minor leakage.
6.pl check if any isolation valve coming inbetween line for passing.
7.last but not least do hydro test by holding 100psi for holding some time chek for reduction then gradually increase up to require pressure.
8. pressrising for longer time may b left permenant distortion in old line n safe.
hope this will help.
