Re: [MW:18778] material defect appears during final painting inspection

Dear shashi,

        Its very clearly indicating that you are  not done proper surface preparation during cleaning.  Before painting, suface preparation is very essential integral part of painting . Depending on customer requirement  you have to   blast  clean surface to grade SA2 , SA2-1/2, SA 3, as per ISO8501-01 OR  STS-05 5900 Std or  as per SSPC( Society of structural steel painting council) Std  SSPC-SP-5,SSPC-SP6,SSPC-SP10.etc  Please find attachment for your futher clarification. Which will help you to short out your problem.
