[MW:14315] Re: 14305] ENiCrMo6 - AC operating

please allow me to answer your questions.
1, YES. Just do it.
2, T=Tungsten, (W) . This element should be W, Maybe our company print it wrong, I will inform them to correct it.

Thanks Mr.Saroj,

Please clarify the following points.

1) Are these mechanical values indicated in the catalogue can be chieved after welding with AC current of 150 to 170 Amps for 4mm electrode?

2) What is the "T" alloying element mentioned?

Srinivasan

Dear Srinivasan,

Yes, the SMAW electrode ENiCrMo-6 is available for welding 9% Nickel steel base material for
Low temp application with AC.

You can go for BOHLER brand FOX NIBAS 60/15, which is highly suitable. The catalogue is attached
herewith for your perusal.

Thanks/Best Regards,

Dear Experts,

We have a job to be welded with ENiCrMo6 which operates on DC.

We need to weld with AC current due to Arc Blow / Magnetism.

Is it possible to have SMAW electrode of same specification, operating on AC without compromising Mechanical Properties?

Please advice.

Regards,

Srinivasan
