Hi,
The pin hole leak could be due to many factors.Since the product is a casting there could be other interlinked porosities. You may please take radiographs in the surrounding area to ensure that no other defects being present before proceeding further.
Please see the link h2095 on repair recommendations of cast hastelloy.
What's the ASTM or hastelloy -C grade, C-4, C22, C276??
Appreciate your response.

Subject: [MW:14360] Hastalloy C pump casing repair
Dear friends,
We have a pump casing made from Hastalloy C, a pin hole found in the casing during leak testing. (it could be casting defect). Thickness at pin hole location is approximately 2.5"-3".
Does anybody has some sort of repair ideas/procedures or any other reference material.
