I would suggest to go with Manufacturer's advice of Epoxy. They need to
confirm the compatibility and give guaranty.

Please clarify that if Epoxy type painting is applied on the PTFE
coated U-bolts, will it affect/damage the PTFE coating during service.
It is noticed that one of our contractor's painting crew applied epoxy
painting on the PTFE applied U-bolts that holds the SS/CS pipelines
with pipe supports.
