Re: [MW:9600] Flattening Test for SA 106

Dear Bathula,

Thanks for the Quick Response.
I would still look forward where the defination of "Under" and "Above" is clearly defined in ASME/ASTM Standards.

Subject: [MW:9597] Flattening Test for SA 106

Dear Experts,

Refer to Section 12.0(Flattening Test) of SA 106, ASME Sec II Part A.

This Section states that - " For Pipe over NPS 2 a section of pipe not less than........"

Question: Does the above Interpretation includes 2" or excludes 2" for the Flattening Test?

Do provide the reference of ASME/ASTM which supports the Interpretation.

The MTC recieved does not reflect the Flattening Test.( Material - 2", Sch 80, SA 106 Gr.B for Sour Service)

Hope to see as usual co-operation from everyone in Material Group.

Thanks & Regards
